Usher in the Fall with one of our home ministries the weekend of October 31st. Home groups will be gathering together for our annual Chili Supper’s in homes across our community. Find a location near you, and join us! and enjoy!
Do I have to currently attend a home group to participate?
No, you do not have to be a part of a home group to come to a Chili Supper. In fact, we hope that Chili Supper is a great opportunity for people in the church who do not have a home group to find one.
Can only Freedom Fellowship people participate?
No, invite some friends and we hope that people all across the city come to church as a result of this event.
Are we participating in Halloween?
No, quite the opposite. We are setting up opportunities all over the city for people to leave Halloween and enter the church that will be taking place in homes across the city. At each of these locations, we will have people who are sharing the love of Christ through fellowship and invitations to church. The people in the community who are coming have been prayed for by home groups all month. John 1:5 says, “The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” This is a night that we can be a light where there is sure to be darkness, and as we shine the light of Christ we can rest assured that it will not be overcome. Jesus gave us many examples where He did not hide from the darkness of those days, and not only did He face it, He surely overcame it all the way to the Cross. What a great opportunity for us as a church to counter what October 31st is about.
Do I need to bring anything?
We encourage you to reach out to the location that you are going to attend and ask what you can bring.
Can my kids dress up?
Yes, your children are welcome to dress up. As we make a concerted effort to represent the church well, we ask that you stay away from any costumes that would be considered scary or unwholesome.
What time does it start and end?
Call the specific Home Group Leaders for times.
