Chili Supper 2021

Chili Supper 2021

Sunday, October 31, 2021

Coordinator: Tyler Ferguson |

What: Chili Supper

When: Sunday, October 31; 6pm

Where: Freedom Fellowship Church

We will be gathering together for our annual Chili Supper back here at the church (like we used to). One big event for one big, wonderful family. This is a great opportunity to connect with others in the church in a relaxed and fun environment. We'll have food, games, inflatables, a hayride, a pumpkin story, and more. Chili will be provided but we'll have a signup for extra chili, some fixings, desserts, and candy. For those that make the BEST CHILI EVER, join in the chili cook-off. You'll need one crock-pot of chili here by 5 pm. And of course, we'd like to put all of our candy in one big pumpkin to distribute to the big and little kiddos.

Join us! and enjoy!

QUESTIONS?

Can only Freedom Fellowship people participate?

This is for our Freedom Family but feel free to invite a friend or two.

Are we participating in Halloween?

No, quite the opposite. We are setting up an opportunity for people to leave Halloween and still enjoy being with others.  John 1:5 says, “The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” This is a night that we can be a light where there is sure to be darkness, and as we shine the light of Christ we can rest assured that it will not be overcome. Jesus gave us many examples where He did not hide from the darkness of those days, and not only did He face it, He surely overcame it all the way to the Cross. What a great opportunity for us as a church to counter what October 31 is about.

Do I need to bring anything?

We will have a sign-up for extra sides and chili to bring (links are above). We have included chili for those who want their own and for those who want to compete but we are also providing chili.

Can my kids dress up?

Yes, your children are welcome to dress up. As we make a concerted effort to represent the church well, we ask that you stay away from any costumes that would be considered scary or unwholesome.
