Act Like Men

This is the first post for the new Act Like Men blog on Freedom Fellowship's Wix website. Below is an example of a block quote.

Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. 1 Corinthians 16:13

Biblical manhood is a lost art. There are whispers of it throughout our modern day culture, but much of God's design for men remains a mystery. The confusion and competition has never been louder. Below is a picture illustrating my point.

The truth is that God's design may not be easily attained, but it is attainable. After all, pain leads to progress. Comfort creates complacency. That's an example of highlight text because I want to emphasize it.

In order to become the man God has destined you to be, you need three key relationships in your life:

  1. A Paul - Someone who is pouring into your life

  2. A Barnabas - Someone who is partnering with you in life

  3. A Timothy - Someone into whom you are pouring into

These are the key relationships all men need if we are to be successful. And remember, success isn't tied to your career or your bank account. Success is whether or not you've obeyed God.

Is biblical manhood a tough journey? There's no doubt about that. But it's a fulfilling one. And it's a journey that doesn't just impact your life. It impacts the lives of your family, your friends, and the generations who will come after you. So let's get journeying together and see what our God will do. It'll be beyond anything you could have asked for or imagined.

See you on the road!
